Orthophotos are digital aerial photographs that have been adjusted for lens distortion, topographic relief and camera tilt. This cover is renewed every three years.The orthophotographs have a minimal resolution of 50 cm. The dataset is generated from the harmonisation of the datasets owned by the Belgian administrative regions.The dataset is INSPIRE compliant. The dataset is downloadable per NGI mapsheet at scale 1:50000.

The national wastewater-based epidemiological surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 monitors the SARS-CoV-2 presence in several wastewater treatment plants across Belgium. This download service contains the results per treatment plant since the beginning of the surveillance in September 2020. The results consist in the SARS-CoV2 concentrations over time as well as other data needed for the interpretations such as the flow rates of the treatment plants and their covering populations.

TopoMaps is a WMS allowing visualizing all images corresponding to the standard topographic cartographies made by the National Geographic Institute. As a result, it allows viewing cartographies on a 1:25 000 scale (Top25Map), on a 1:50 000 scale (Top50Map), on a 1:100 000 scale (Landcover100Map) and on a 1:250 000 scale (Top250Map), as well as the administrative map (AdminMap). With the exception of the administrative map, the cartographies show all themes of the topo-geographic inventory of the Belgian territory (ITGI) which is made and kept up-to-date by the National Geographic Institute: land use, transport, hydrography, buildings and constructions, relief, map lettering and toponyms.

Top25Map is a digital version of the NGI’s topographic cartography on a scale of 1:25 000. These images result from the symbolisation of the objects and themes which are present in the topo-geographic inventory of the Belgian territory (ITGI), which is built and kept up-to-date by the NGI. Top25Map contains all usual themes of the NGI’s cartographic products (land use, transport, hydrography, buildings and constructions, relief,…), as well as the map lettering and the toponyms. The Top25Map cartography is appropriate to hiking.

Points Of Interest - Natural elements contains point elements relating to nature, namely remarkable trees and underground cavities in Belgium.

The contour lines are the set of lines connecting all points at the same elevation in a model used to represent the relief on a large scale.

The product is made of 5 "high resolution layers" covering all the Belgian territory as part of a European-wide coverage for the reference year 2015. The 5 layers concern 4 distinct themes: Imperviousness, Forest, Grasslands, Wetness and Water. The 5 layers were produced by an automatic classification based on satellite images and collateral data and achieved by private companies (EEA service providers), and they were verified by Belgium. At the Belgian level, verification and enhancements were made by IV for the northern part and SPW for the outhern part. The NGI coordinated the project. The eTOD digital terrain model (DTM) is a homogeneous and regular point grid indicating the elevation of the ground level in order to make a model of its surface. This DTM is obtained by resampling raw altimetric source data from the Flemish and Walloon Regions, grouped in Lambert 72 and with a resolution of 1 m; as well as data obtained internally by direct photogrammetric recording of structure points and lines based on the most recent aerial photographs for all areas not covered by regional data. For this DTM, the resolution and coordinate reference system are used as defined by the eTOD specifications.
